Open Administration and go to Devices
From the Organizations list, open the context menu for the target organization and select Administration. Inside Administration, select the Devices tab or section.
The Devices page lists all devices currently associated with the organization. Each device row shows:
Device name
Room manufacturer (when available)
Registered on โ the date the device was first recorded
Model โ the model number, when available
A status badge: active or deactivated
Add a new device
Click the Add button. A slide-over panel appears on the right with the title Device.
Complete the following fields:
Field | Required | Description |
Name | Yes | A user-friendly name for the device. If left blank, the form shows Name is required and will not submit. |
Manufacturer | No | The name of the device manufacturer. |
Type | No | The device type, selected from a predefined list. Start typing to search available types. |
Click Save to create the device. A green notification appears: Device added successfully!
Edit an existing device
On the device row, open the row menu and select Edit. The same slide-over panel appears pre-populated with the device's current values.
Update any fields and click Save. A green notification appears: Device updated successfully!
Deactivate a device
On the device row, open the row menu and select Deactivate. A confirmation prompt appears:
Are you sure you want to deactivate this device? This action cannot be undone.
Click Deactivate to confirm. The device's status changes to deactivated and a green notification appears: Device deactivated successfully!
Click Cancel to return to the list without making any changes.
Note: Deactivation cannot be reversed from this interface. If a device was deactivated in error, contact your system administrator.
Result: Added devices appear in the Devices list and become available for assignment in Appointment Types. Deactivated devices are removed from the active list and cannot be assigned to new appointments.
Best practices
Add devices before configuring appointment types. Device options in the Appointment Types form only appear when the organization has at least one device configured.
Use the Type field to categorize devices. Selecting a device type helps practitioners identify the correct equipment when scheduling.
Deactivation cannot be reversed from the UI. Contact your system administrator if a device needs to be restored after being deactivated in error.
